Fabspeed's Competition Link Pipe for the 718 Boxster and Cayman (Base/S 2017+, GTS 2017-2020) replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter with a straight-through section for maximum flow, sharpening throttle response and turbo spool. Built from .065-inch T304L stainless steel with an integrated O2 sensor bung in the factory location, it clamps into the factory double-walled exhaust with a Torca clamp; the cut is simple and the pipe can be swapped back to the stock catalytic converter on the same clamp at any time. Because it removes the OEM catalytic converter, Fabspeed designates it for closed track and off-road use only, not for public roads.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the Competition Link Pipe fit?

Fits your 718 Boxster. Fabspeed lists this piece for: all Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman Base/S Models 2017+ and GTS Models 2017-2020 Worldwide. Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Can I go back to the stock catalytic converter later?

Yes, the Torca clamp design lets you refit the factory catalytic converter on the same clamp at any time.

Does installation require cutting the exhaust?

Yes, a simple cut into the factory double-walled exhaust is needed, but it's straightforward and fully reversible.

Is this legal for street use?

No, removing the catalytic converter means Fabspeed designates this for closed track and off-road use only.

Will it trigger a check engine light?

It can, since the catalytic converter is removed; optional O2 spacers are available that may help avoid it.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
