XperTune Performance Software
Fabspeed's XperTune performance software for the Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman, applied through a handheld tuner that plugs into the OBD-II port rather than requiring the ECU to be pulled and bench-flashed. It reprograms sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios and boost pressure, with dyno-tested gains of 60 whp and 80 ft-lb of torque on the 2.0-litre turbo, or 55 whp and 80 ft-lb on the 2.5-litre. Maps are available for completely stock cars as well as cars already fitted with cat-bypass pipes, sport cats, a full exhaust, or an upgraded turbo. The handheld pairs to one vehicle and can flash back to stock at any point, so nothing about the change is permanent. Requires a Windows PC to manage the files.
