A retrofit conversion that lets owners of the 718 Cayman GT4, GTS 4.0, and Boxster Spyder install Fabspeed's GT4RS-spec exhaust on their car. The kit is a complete bolt-on swap: 4.0-to-GT4RS over-axle pipes plus Fabspeed's rear An exhaust valve system that opens and closes electronically to switch between a quiet and a loud exhaust note system, built with A UK-made exhaust valve brand used by Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Porsche GT3 race cars valves. Dyno testing shows gains of 30 hp and 22.8 ft-lbs of torque starting as low as 3700 rpm, and the system is about 20 lbs lighter than stock. It's built from CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel or titanium depending on the X-pipe you choose, with a choice of tip finishes, and bolts on with no cutting or welding.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the 4.0liter Engine to GT4RS Conversion Package fit?

Fits your 718 Cayman GT4. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 (2020+); Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder (2020+); Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 (2020+). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Will this fit my car if it's not a GT4RS?

Yes, it's specifically designed as a retrofit for the 4.0-liter GT4, GTS, and Spyder so they can run Fabspeed's GT4RS-spec exhaust without an engine swap.

What's the difference between the titanium and stainless X-pipe?

Both use the same Helical valves and construction quality; titanium is the lighter of the two options.

Will it trigger a check engine light?

On US-spec cars, no; Fabspeed states EU-spec cars should inquire before ordering.

Which option should I choose?

Choose Stainless for the proven T304L build, or Titanium if shaving extra weight matters most to you; both use the same Helical valves and bolt on identically. For tips, pick a finish that matches your car's trim, or select Re-use OEM Tips to keep the factory look. The Sound Level option controls resonance: choose Resonated for a quieter daily-driver tone, or Non-Resonated for a louder, more aggressive note.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
