Lightweight Competition Exhaust System

Fabspeed's Lightweight Competition Exhaust for the 718 GT4, GTS and Spyder (2020+) started as a 3D scan of the factory exhaust, rebuilt with 2.5-inch Bent over an internal mandrel so the tube keeps a constant diameter through the bend, unlike crush-bending. T304L stainless tubing and a crossover tube to aid scavenging and cut An unwanted droning resonance at certain highway rpm, where exhaust pulses match the cabin's natural frequency.. It deletes the factory PSE valves entirely, so it's aggressive at every rpm; turn-down tips are available to cut 3-6dB for track noise limits. Most of the power gain lands past 5000rpm, with Fabspeed's dyno testing showing 15whp and 10 ft-lbs of torque at 7700rpm. It saves 17 lbs (7.3kg) over the factory muffler, stays 50-state emissions legal with no check engine light, and installs DIY with no cutting or welding. Owners who'd rather not tackle it themselves can have Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer fit it instead.

Which cars does the Lightweight Competition Exhaust System fit?
Fits your 718 Cayman GT4. Fabspeed lists this piece for: all 718 Cayman/Boxster GT4 / GTS / Spyder Cars 2020+. Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Does this exhaust delete the PSE valves?
Yes, the factory PSE valves are deleted entirely, so the exhaust is aggressive at every rpm rather than switching between quiet and loud modes.
I need to keep the exhaust quiet at the track. Any options?
Yes, turn-down tips are available that cut exhaust sound by 3-6dB for track noise limits.
Does my GT4 or Spyder use the early or late exhaust bracket?
Porsche changed the exhaust bracket design around the February 2020 build date, so check your car's bracket style before ordering; both early and late versions are available.
Will this system stay emissions legal?
Yes, it's emissions legal in all 50 states with no check engine light.
Which option should I choose?
Bracket style depends on your car's build date: Porsche switched from the early to the late exhaust bracket design around February 2020, so check your car before choosing, an incorrect bracket choice won't fit. Tip finish (including reusing your OEM tips) is a styling choice and doesn't change sound or power.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
