Valved X-Pipe Exhaust System

Fabspeed's Valvetronic X-Pipe exhaust for the 718 Cayman/Boxster GT4, GTS, and Spyder 4.0L cars, replacing the factory X-pipe while keeping full PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) valve functionality. The X-pipe is CAD-flow engineered and investment cast for a smoother, higher-pitched note than a hand-welded U-bend piece, running through 2.5 inch mandrel-bent T304L stainless tubing, and the valves come from Helical Limited in the UK, the same ISO 9001 supplier Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche use on their GT cars. On the dyno it gained 15whp at 7,600rpm and 28 lb-ft of torque lower down at 2,400rpm, while shedding about 4lbs versus the factory system. It's 50-state emissions legal, bolts on without cutting or welding, and is backed by Fabspeed's lifetime warranty.
Frequently asked
Which cars does the Valved X-Pipe Exhaust System fit?
Fits your 718 Spyder. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster GT4, GTS, and Spyder 4.0L cars (2020+). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Will this trigger a check engine light?
No. Fabspeed guarantees no check engine light with this system, and it's emissions legal in all 50 states.
How do I know if I need the early or late model exhaust bracket?
Porsche switched exhaust bracket styles on the 718 GT4/Spyder around February 2020 — check your car's build date or the reference photos on the product page before ordering.
What does the PSE valve do with this exhaust?
With PSE off you get a subtle volume increase over stock; with PSE on and the valves open, it turns into a noticeably louder, more exotic sound.
Which option should I choose?
Tip finish is a cosmetic and price choice — Carbon Fiber, Satin Black, and Titanium sit at the same price, Polished and Brushed Stainless are a step down, and reusing your factory OEM tips is the cheapest option. Bracket style isn't a preference: Porsche switched from the early to the late exhaust bracket partway through the 2020 model year, so pick whichever one your car actually has, not whichever sounds better.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
