A high-flow competition air intake for the Porsche 987.2 Boxster, Cayman, Cayman R, and Spyder, replacing the factory airbox and throttle body inlet pipe with a professional racing-derived design developed alongside BGB Motorsports, a Grand-Am IMSA race team. It uses a dry-style filter that doesn't need oiling, just a wash with warm water and reinstall. Because the factory airbox has to be removed with the engine lowered (or cut into sections, which makes it non-reusable), Fabspeed recommends having this installed by a qualified technician. It's built for the aggressive intake sound and power gains that come with racing and track use. Fits all Porsche 987.2 Boxster/Cayman/Cayman R/Spyder vehicles from 2009 to 2012; fitting the GT3 82mm throttle body upgrade needs an additional extension sleeve for the silicone hose.
