IPD's intake plenum for the Porsche 987.2 Boxster/Cayman (2009-2012), designed as the intake half of Fabspeed's 987.2 exhaust upgrades. Base and Non-S cars get the plenum on its own; S and R cars can choose the plenum alone, or the full Competition Plenum Package built around the larger 82mm GT3 throttle body for a bigger jump in flow. On a 987.2 already running an aftermarket cat-back exhaust, IPD's own testing shows 20-plus hp and 15-plus lb-ft of torque, with most of the gain through the mid-range and into peak power. It needs no ECU flash and won't trigger a check-engine light, and being cast aluminium rather than the factory plastic, it resists heat soak and won't crack under boost.
