A cast-aluminium intake plenum from Innovative Pro Design (IPD) for the 991.2 Carrera's 3.0-litre turbo engine, replacing the factory plastic air distributor as a direct bolt-on that reuses all existing hardware and the factory throttle body. IPD's patented "Y" design and dimpled interior smooth the airflow for gains that build through the rev range and reduce turbo lag, and being aluminium rather than plastic, the plenum resists heat soak under hard driving. It doesn't require an ECU flash, shouldn't trigger a check engine light, and Fabspeed recommends having the roughly 4-5 hour install done by a qualified Porsche technician.
