GiroDisc Upgraded Brake Rotors

GiroDisc upgraded rotors for the 991 Carrera and Carrera S, sold as a direct replacement for worn rotors or as a lighter, cheaper alternative to PCCB for track use. The hat is US-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum, the disc is GiroDisc's own cast iron poured and machined in-house, and the floating mount uses 8 or 10 cadmium-plated steel drive pins with anti-noise spring washers so the rotor stays quiet when cold but still self-centers between the pads. Once the disc wears, only it needs replacing, not the hat. Choose front or rear, standard brakes or PCCB fitment, when ordering — if you're converting away from carbon ceramic brakes, GiroDisc recommends replacing all four rotors together to keep the factory brake bias intact.
Frequently asked
Which cars does the GiroDisc Upgraded Brake Rotors fit?
Fits your Porsche 991 Carrera. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 991 Carrera and Carrera S (front/rear, standard brakes or PCCB). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Can I replace just my worn discs without buying new hats?
Yes. Once the cast iron disc wears out, only the disc needs replacing — the aluminum hat is reusable.
I'm converting from PCCB to these — do I need all four?
GiroDisc strongly recommends replacing all four rotors together when switching away from carbon ceramic brakes, to keep the factory brake bias and controlled braking.
Are these lighter than the factory rotors?
Yes, the aluminum hat and GiroDisc's rotor design reduce unsprung weight compared with the stock steel rotors.
Which option should I choose?
Choose the option that matches your exact setup — front or rear, and whether your car has the standard steel brakes or factory PCCB carbon ceramics. All six listings are priced the same; the choice is about getting the correct physical fitment, not price.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
