Frequently asked

Does the Side Muffler Bypass Pipes fit my 911 GT3 / GT3 RS?

This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 RS (991.1). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

What's the weight saving?

Fabspeed states this saves 15 kg from the rear of the car.

What's the difference between valved and non-valved?

The valved option uses Fabspeed's Helical valves, which open and close with precision to control gas flow and optimize back pressure; choosing non-valved leaves those out.

What are the O2 bungs for?

Fabspeed relocated the O2 bungs from the header collector onto these pipes so they read all cylinders correctly and maintain factory-like sensor function when paired with their Long Tube Competition Headers.

Can I upgrade my headers later without buying new bypass pipes?

Yes, Fabspeed says this design lets you upgrade to their Long Tube Race Header design in the future without needing to replace these bypass pipes.

Which option should I choose?

Valved keeps Helical aerospace exhaust valves so you can switch tone with the factory PSE/Sport button. Non-Valved drops the valves entirely for a lighter, simpler, always-open pipe.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
