IPD Plenum
A 74mm cast-aluminium intake plenum from Innovative Pro Design (IPD) for the 992 Turbo, developed with computational fluid dynamics to raise mass flow and even out charge pressure and velocity across the engine's two intake branches versus the factory air distributor. Gains build from 4000 rpm through redline, with peak gains over 35 wheel hp and 35 lb-ft above 6000 rpm on IPD's own testing, while also cutting initial turbo lag. It's a simple DIY bolt-on that doesn't require an ECU flash and shouldn't trigger a check engine light. If you'd prefer to leave it to a workshop, Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer can fit it just as easily.
