GiroDisc brake rotors for the Porsche 996 GT2 and GT3, a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory iron discs that works with the stock calipers and pads, so factory brake bias and ABS calibration stay intact. The front rotors weigh about 21.0 lbs against 25.6 lbs for the factory units, cutting rotational and unsprung weight for quicker acceleration and sharper suspension response. The hat is US-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium; the disc is GiroDisc's own cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA, with a curved vane design that pumps cooling air through the rotor as it spins. A floating mount on 10 cadmium-plated drive pins lets the disc expand with heat without rattling.
