Carbon fiber competition air intake for the Porsche 997.2 GT3 (2010-2012), replacing the factory airbox with dual conical dry-style filters that need no oiling, full carbon fiber tubing and a carbon fiber heat shield, reusing the factory MAF sensor. Improves power and gives a more exotic engine note; Fabspeed notes no measurable gains on GT3 RS models, so it's recommended for the standard GT3 only.

Frequently asked

Does the Carbon Fiber Competition Air Intake fit my 911 GT3 / GT3 RS?

This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 RS (997.2). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Does it reuse my factory MAF sensor?

Yes, Fabspeed says it reuses the existing MAF sensor.

Do the filters need oiling?

No, Fabspeed's dry-style filters don't require oiling. Just wash them down with warm water and reuse.

Will this help on a GT3 RS?

Fabspeed notes there are no measurable performance gains when installing this intake on a GT3 RS, and recommends it for the standard GT3 instead.

What's it made from?

A carbon fiber heat shield with dual conical air filters and full carbon fiber tubing, aimed at maximum weight savings.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
