Alpha Performance's twin intercooler system for the 997.1 Turbo and Turbo S, built around a pair of 5.5 inch thick cores, nearly double the OEM unit's thickness, each rated at roughly 800 CFM of airflow. CAD-designed cast end tanks smooth the airflow path, and the system retains the factory intercooler inlets ahead of the rear wheels, sealing to them with carbon fiber shrouds instead of the cut-and-tape fixes some other kits rely on. A carbon fiber Y-pipe at 2.5 inches, up from the stock 1.79 inch piping, and 4-ply silicone couplers carry roughly 40 percent more airflow to the intake. The kit fits 997 Turbo/Turbo S cars still running their stock OEM turbochargers and includes all fastening hardware and stainless hose clamps needed to install it.
