Fewer than fifty manuals, everPorsche built just 50 manual-gearbox V6 Panameras worldwide across the entire first generation's run from 2009 to 2013. That makes a three-pedal Panamera a genuine unicorn today.

A cancelled four-door predates it by two decadesPorsche developed a four-door prototype codenamed 989 between 1988 and 1991, only to cancel it in January 1992 as 928 sales slumped and profits thinned. The car survived rather than being scrapped, and by 2019 it was on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Historians widely regard it as the Panamera's spiritual ancestor, arriving on sale some seventeen years later.

Performance Package

The V6 Panamera answers the factory car's biggest criticism, a soundtrack too polite for the badge. Fabspeed's package opens the 3.6 up properly: the full Maxflo exhaust with quad tips, resonator bypass pipes, a competition intake and the matching tune, built as one calibrated system rather than four separate bolt-ons.
