Xpertune Performance Software
XperTune performance software for the BMW G20 M340i (2019 to June 2020), applied by bench-flashing the customer's ECU with a reprogrammed map for sensor inputs, air-fuel ratios and boost pressure. It's a software-only upgrade: ship your ECU to Fabspeed and it's reflashed within 24-48 hours before being returned, with your factory settings saved so the car can be reverted to stock at any time. Fabspeed notes the cutoff at June 2020 is a hardware limit, not a choice: from that point Bosch's MEVD/MG1 ECUs are locked at the processor level and can no longer be bench-unlocked.

What does the price include?

How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Is this a physical part I install myself?
No. It's a software upgrade. You ship your car's ECU to Fabspeed, they reflash it within 24-48 hours, and ship it back to you for reinstallation.
Can I go back to the factory tune later?
Yes. Fabspeed saves your original ECU settings so the car can be reflashed back to stock at any time.
Why does this only cover cars up to June 2020?
Bosch locked the MEVD and MG1 family of ECUs from mid-June 2020 onward at the processor level for security reasons, which makes bench unlocking impossible on those units.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
