GiroDisc's direct replacement rotors for the Ferrari F430 and Challenge/Scuderia variants, sold per axle as a floating two-piece setup. The hat is machined from US-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and the disc from proprietary cast iron poured and machined in-house at GiroDisc, with a curved vane design that acts as a centrifugal pump to draw cooling air through the rotor. The hat and disc float on 8 to 10 cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins, secured with grade-12 cap screws and cushioned by anti-noise spring washers, letting the disc expand with heat without rattling and self-center between the pads. If you're converting away from factory carbon-ceramic brakes, GiroDisc strongly recommends replacing all four rotors together to keep the factory brake bias intact.
