XperTune performance software for the Maserati GranTurismo, a bench-flash The car's engine control unit; reprogramming it changes fuelling, ignition timing and (on turbo cars) boost pressure. reprogram: the customer mails in their ECU and Fabspeed returns it tuned within 24-48 hours, using whatever shipping method it arrived by. Reprograms sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios and boost pressure for more horsepower, torque and sharper driving characteristics. On the base GranTurismo output rises from a stock 395hp/339 lb-ft to 418hp/357 lb-ft; on the GranTurismo S, from 424hp/361 lb-ft to 451hp/378 lb-ft. Fabspeed saves the factory ECU settings so the car can be reverted to stock at any time.
