GiroDisc iron rotor conversion kits for the McLaren 570S, 570GT, 540C, 650S, and MP4-12C, a direct replacement for the factory carbon-ceramic (CCM) discs with no other modification needed. The hat is 6061-T6 aircraft-spec aluminium and the disc is racing-spec cast iron, with a curved-vane design that pumps cooling air through the disc as it spins; rear rotors keep the OEM size. A floating mount of cadmium-plated drive pins lets the disc grow with heat and self-centre against the pads, with anti-noise spring washers to stop the rattle floating rotors are known for. Choose front or rear when ordering, and if you're converting a full set from CCM, Fabspeed recommends replacing all four rotors together to keep the factory brake bias intact.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the GiroDisc Iron Rotor Conversion Kits fit?

Fits your McLaren 650S (2014-2017). Fabspeed lists this piece for: McLaren 570S / 570 GT / 540 C / 650S / MP4-12C with CCM rotors. Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Do these replace the factory carbon-ceramic discs?

Yes, they're a direct replacement for the factory CCM discs with no other modification needed.

Should I replace all four rotors at once?

If you're converting from carbon-ceramic brakes, Fabspeed strongly recommends replacing all four together to keep the factory brake bias intact.

Which option should I choose?

Front and rear rotors are sold and priced separately as pairs; front rotors cost more than rear because of the larger, heavier disc.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
