GiroDisc's two-piece rotors give 997 GT3/GT3 RS owners a lighter, cheaper way onto track than replacing worn PCCB discs at OE prices. The hat is machined from US-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium, and the cast iron disc is poured and finished in-house with a curved vane design that pumps cooling air through the rotor. A floating pin mount lets the disc expand with heat independently of the hat, cutting the rattle that plagues cheaper floating rotors while self-centring between the pads, and caliper spacers are included to fit the larger GiroDisc diameter. Both standard-brake and PCCB-equipped cars are covered.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the GiroDisc Upgraded Brake Rotors fit?

Fits your Porsche 997 GT3. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 997 GT3 / GT3 RS (2006-2009). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

How do I know which rotors to order?

Choose front or rear, and whether your car has the standard brakes or factory PCCB carbon ceramic brakes - all four combinations are offered.

Why choose these over OE ceramic replacements?

They're a lighter, more cost-effective alternative to costly OE ceramic replacement for cars that see track use.

I currently have carbon ceramic brakes - can I switch to iron?

Yes, but Fabspeed strongly recommends replacing all four rotors together to maintain the factory brake bias and controlled braking in all conditions.

Which option should I choose?

Pick the PCCB option only if your GT3/GT3 RS came from the factory with the carbon ceramic brake package - the caliper and mounting geometry differs from the standard steel-brake cars, so ordering the wrong pair won't fit.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
