Sport cat A crossover pipe shaped like an X that joins the two exhaust banks, balancing pulses between cylinders for a smoother, more responsive exhaust note. exhaust system for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (2005-2010, 4.3L and 4.7L), replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converters and mid-pipe with German-imported 200-cell HJS sport catalysts and a free-flowing investment-cast X-pipe. Built from 14-16 gauge CNC Bent over an internal mandrel so the tube keeps a constant diameter through the bend, unlike crush-bending. T304 stainless steel. On the dyno it added 39 whp and 41 ft-lbs of torque, with a rawer, more seductive exhaust note and no catalyst-related check engine light. Simple bolt-on installation, no cutting or welding required. Does not fit 2011+ V8 Vantage S models.
