GTB / Spider Sport Cats
German manufacturer of the high-flow catalytic converters Fabspeed fits in its sport cat products. sport catalytic converters for the Ferrari 488 GTB and Spider, replacing the restrictive factory cats with the largest 200-cell cores that fit, built from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with T321 flex bellows. They cut 5 lb from the factory units with no catalyst-related check engine light. On their own you'll notice a moderate increase in exhaust volume and more turbo spool sound; paired with Fabspeed's X-pipe you get the full high-pitched wail the Twin Turbo V8 is capable of. Tested together with Fabspeed's X-pipe and ECU tune, the combination added 112 whp and 147 ft-lb of torque at 4000 rpm on the dyno. Bolt-on replacement for the factory cats, no cutting or welding.
