GiroDisc 380mm Front Brake Rotors (Steel)
A pair of 380mm steel front rotors for the McLaren MP4-12C, a direct replacement for the factory cast iron discs and slightly larger than the 370mm originals, with caliper spacers included to accommodate the size increase. The hat is 6061-T6 aircraft-spec aluminium and the disc is racing-spec cast iron, with a curved vane design that pumps cooling air through the disc as it spins. A floating mount system of 12 cadmium-plated drive pins lets the disc grow with heat and self-centre against the pads, with anti-noise spring washers to stop the rattle floating rotors are known for. Paired with performance pads and hi-temp fluid, GiroDisc positions this as a fix for overheating or warping factory rotors.
