An OEM+ recreation of the original Längerer & Reich oil cooler for the Porsche 964 and 993 (1989-1998), air-cooled 911s that CSF notes ran hotter than earlier generations due to higher performance output, tighter emissions rules, and limited engine bay space. The modern dual-pass, 50mm tube-and-fin core is 100% TIG-welded aluminium, with stainless steel “widemouth” M30 x 1.5 high-flow fittings and a redesigned fan shroud mounting location for an easier install. Finished in satin black, it's individually leak and pressure tested to 8 bar (116 psi), logo-stamped and serialized for quality control. True plug-and-play fit, no modifications needed, and ships in a product-specific foam insert and 5-ply box. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty with a warranty sheet listing torque specs.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the OEM+ Performance Engine Oil Cooler fit?

Fits your Porsche 993 Carrera. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 911 Carrera; Porsche 993 (1994-1998); Porsche 964 (1989-1994). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Why did the 964/993 need a redesigned oil cooler?

CSF says these air-cooled 911s ran hotter than earlier generations due to higher output, tighter emissions rules, and limited engine bay space, stretching the original cooling design.

Is it a direct bolt-in?

Yes, true plug-and-play with a redesigned fan shroud mounting location for an easier install.

How is quality controlled?

Each unit is individually leak and pressure tested to 8 bar (116 psi), logo-stamped and serialized.

What fittings does it use?

Stainless steel “widemouth” M30 x 1.5 high-flow fittings.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
