XperTune performance software for the BMW M240i (2016 to June 2020), delivered through a handheld tuner that interfaces with the car's OBD-II port instead of a full ECU bench flash. Reprograms air/fuel ratios, ignition timing and other parameters to lift power and sharpen response while keeping the engine within safe operating limits. The handheld device stores your factory settings, so the car can be flashed back to stock and re-tuned at any point without shipping the ECU anywhere. Only fits pre-June 2020 cars, before BMW's Bosch ECU lock made bench unlocking impossible.
