Drop-in replacement air filter for the Porsche 986 Boxster and Boxster S (1997-2004), fitting directly into the factory airbox in place of the paper filter. Made by , the outer frame uses a soft rubber material built with a full-molding process for a tight seal that resists cracking, while the washable cotton filter element sits in an alloy mesh screen that protects against debris and holds its shape. It flows nearly 40% more air than the stock paper filter and uses the same media BMC supplies to the Ferrari Formula 1 and GT race teams, plus Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Audi motorsport programmes.
