Secondary competition Straight-through pipes that replace a catalytic converter section; removes emissions equipment for track use. for the Porsche 986 Boxster, replacing the heavy, restrictive, and redundant factory secondary catalytic converters with a straight-through section for more power and a lighter rear end. Fabspeed's testing showed 8 whp gained and 25 lbs saved versus the factory cats, along with improved throttle response and exhaust note. They're built from T304L stainless steel with CNC mandrel-bent tubing and install as an easy bolt-on with no cutting or welding, designed for use with the factory OEM-style muffler only. Fabspeed says these are intended strictly for closed track events and off-road use, not for cars driven on public roads. Fits all 986 Boxster/S vehicles from 2000 to 2004.
