Supercup Exhaust System

An aggressive, track-designed exhaust system for the Porsche 986 Boxster, built for maximum flow and power and noticeably louder than Fabspeed's Maxflo system. It saves 40 lbs from the rear of the vehicle and includes two resonators to control weight and improve top-end power, built from 14-16 gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel with Deluxe Dual Style tips in your choice of finish. Depending on model year, it ships with street-legal HJS sport catalytic converters that stay emissions compliant with no check engine light, or, for track use, cat-bypass pipes with O2 sensor bungs in the factory position for off-road use only. Fits all Porsche 986 Boxster/S vehicles from 1997 to 2004.
Frequently asked
Which cars does the Supercup Exhaust System fit?
Fits your 986 Boxster. Fabspeed lists this piece for: all Porsche 986 Boxster / S vehicles (1997-2004); Porsche 986 (1997-2004). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Is this street legal?
It depends on the configuration: the 1997-1999 Street version uses sport catalytic converters and stays emissions compliant with no check engine light, while the Race cat-bypass version is for closed track and off-road use only.
How much louder is this than the Maxflo exhaust?
Fabspeed says the Supercup is significantly louder than the Maxflo, aimed at buyers who want a very aggressive note.
How much weight does it save?
40 lbs from the rear of the vehicle compared to the full OEM exhaust.
Which option should I choose?
Choose the year/configuration option that matches your Boxster: 2000-2004 US models use one routing, while 1997-1999 cars choose between the Street Sport Cats version (also used on all 2000-2004 EU and rest-of-world cars, and street legal with no check engine light) or the Race Cat Bypass version (for closed track and off-road use only, not street legal). Tip finish is a styling choice between polished stainless, carbon fiber, or satin black.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
