Fabspeed's patented RENNKRAFT Sport Cat and Competition Link Pipe replaces the ageing factory catalytic converter on the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 (1976-1989) with a system that swaps between a German-made 200-cell German manufacturer of the high-flow catalytic converters Fabspeed fits in its sport cat products. catalyst, flowing up to 93% of a straight pipe, and a cat-bypass pipe for racing use. It retains the stock rear mufflers, so the car looks original either way. With Sport Cats fitted, expect a noticeable jump in volume with pops, gurgles and turbo whistle; swap to the cat-bypass pipe and it's louder still, with prominent turbo spool sound in the cabin. Built from 3-inch, 14-16 gauge T304L CNC mandrel-bent stainless steel, it bolts directly to the stock DLZ or K27 turbo, and is the only patented RENNKRAFT-design system of its kind.

Frequently asked

Does the Rennkraft Sport Cat and Competition Link Pipe fit my 911 Turbo (930)?

This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Can I switch between the catalytic converter and the cat-bypass pipe?

Yes, that's the point of the RENNKRAFT patented design, you can swap between a catted setup for street use and a cat-bypass pipe for racing.

Does it change how the car looks?

No, it retains the stock OEM rear mufflers so the car keeps its original appearance.

How loud is it with the cat-bypass pipe fitted?

Much louder than the sport cat setup, with loud, aggressive pops and gurgles and prominent turbo spool sound in the cabin.

Which option should I choose?

Choose Sport Cats alone if you want a cleaner, quieter setup that still improves flow and sound; add the Cat Bypass Pipes if you want the loudest, most aggressive option for racing use, since removing the catalytic converter entirely with the bypass pipe means it's intended for closed track and off-road use only.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
