Sport Headers with Heat

Fabspeed's Sport Headers with Heat replace the restrictive factory heat exchangers on the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 (1976-1989, including the US-spec Slantnose Flachbau), moving power delivery earlier in the rev range. Built from 14-16 gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel with a 3-into-1 pyramidal investment-cast merge collector for better scavenging, the kit bolts directly to the stock turbo and includes a drip accumulator with Aeroquip lines and 7/8-inch custom braided oil lines with correct 30mm Porsche-style ball ends and OEM fittings, replacing the stock oil lines. Fitting a K27 turbo means machining the turbo inlet flange down 10mm first. Installation is a straightforward DIY bolt-on job with all hardware and gaskets included. Either way works: fit it yourself, or let Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer handle it.
Frequently asked
Does the Sport Headers with Heat fit my 911 Turbo (930)?
This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Does this fit K27 turbo cars?
Yes, but the turbo inlet flange needs to be machined down 10mm first to fit a K27 turbo.
Do I need anything extra for a Slantnose car?
Yes, US-spec Slantnose (Flachbau) cars need the Slantnose Oil Line Kit option added.
What's included with the oil system?
A drip accumulator with double swivels, Aeroquip lines with adapters, a graphite steel layered gasket, and 7/8-inch custom braided oil lines with correct Porsche-style ball ends.
What should I do after the first drive?
Fabspeed recommends retorquing all exhaust bolts to factory spec after the initial heat cycle to ensure a proper header seal.
Which option should I choose?
Add the Slantnose Oil Line Kit only if your car is a US-spec 930 Slantnose (Flachbau); other 930s don't need it. The air injection smog pump plugs are an optional add-on for cars where you want to block off the factory air injection ports.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
